"Rare opportunity concourse standard original Australian delivered fibreglass 308 GTB
Reluctantly, I am offering for sale a rare 1976 Vetroresina Ferrari 308 GTB chassis no: 20369. This is a fibreglass bodied Australian compliance and delivered car.
I purchased this car in early 2007 as winner of the Ferrari Club of Australia national concourse in 2006. The car was fastidiously restored and maintained by the previous owner and is widely regarded as one of the best setup 308s in Australia.
The car has travelled only 4,000km since I bought it. It has been regularly maintained, has required no major work in that time and remains in concourse condition.
The exhaust system has been upgraded to stainless steel and the original valves replaced with stainless steel. It is currently riding on 16” 328 rims with new (<1,000km) Bridgestone Potenzas. The original 14” rims with good Michelins XWX tyres are included in the sale. Otherwise, the car is very original in all respects.
Changes in work arrangements and a major downsize mean that I don’t have suitable storage and am unable to give the car a good drive often enough.
There is a box of miscellaneous parts, bits & pieces, as well as the original rear sway bar, the car now fitted with a stiffer 328 version. Workshop manuals and spare parts catalogue are included.
FCA number plate 308F included if sold in Western Australia. I am also including a full set of Forza magazine (except the illusive #15) and an original copy of Road & Track with the first 308 road test"
